MASOOR DAL DOSA RECIPE


INGREDIENTS:
  • Dosa rice or Idli rice - 3 1/2 cups
  • Masoor dhal or Tur dhal - 3/4 cup
  • Whole white urad dhal - 1 cup
  • Thick poha(Aval) - 1/4 cup
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Methi seeds (Fenugreek seeds) - 1/2 tsp.
  • Jeera - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - to drizzle

METHOD:
  • Soak all the above ingredients together for 4 hrs. 
  • Grind it with salt to a smooth batter. Ferment for 6 hours. 
  • Heat a dosa tawa, pour the batter and spread it thin to form a circle. Drizzle oil around the dosa, cook until golden brown and crisp.
  • Serve with dosai milagai podi, kara chutney or any chutney of your choice.
